o Why do I need a painting if my photo
looks pretty good?
A painting is quite different from a photo. A photo is
a generic copy which can be produced easily many times while
a painting is original and unique. Have you ever walked around
the library or museum and seen portraits of famous people
hanging on the hallway? Now you can have them too with your
own portrait.
o Why do I need a personal painting if
I already have many paintings at home?
When you purchase your paintings from the gallery, you can
only choose the ones the artists made with their own taste
and interest. Have you ever seen a beautiful scene or had
a gorgeous wedding photo that you would like to make into
a painting? We will give you such freedom to paint any beautiful
memory you captured using your camera.
o How would you protect my privacy?
We highly respect your privacy and will never post your
photo, painting or comments on the web or use for promotion
unless you give us explicit written permission.
Ordering / Pricing
o What types of paintings do you offer?
We currently offer oil paintings (on canvas), black and white pencil sketch, color pencil and watercolor. More styles are on the way. If you have any suggestions
on special styles, please let us know.
o How much is the painting?
The price starts from $49.99 for pencil sketches and depend
on various factors such as the type of painting, the size
and the number of subjects. The price is very affordable compared
to your local artists. Please check out our pricing table
for more details.
o How can I order?
You can place your order through the online order form using
your credit card or you can send us your credit card Testimonials
through fax or telephone. Check is also acceptable if you
prefer so.
o Is it safe to give you my credit card
Testimonials?
We are using the credit card processing pipeline from PayPal,
which uses encrypted transmission to safeguard security.
o What if I don’t like the painting
and don’t want it?
You just say “no thanks” and walk away. You
have zero obligations to buy if you don’t like it. Even
though you said yes and the painting has been shipped to you,
within 30 days, if you feel the painting just doesn’t
fit or doesn’t meet your expectation, just send it back
to us and we will refund your money.

do you have any make-me-happier discount?

Drawing / Delivery Process
o How can I get my photo to you?
If your photo is digital, send us the file by email. If
it is paper photo, we highly recommend you to scan it using
a scanner or take a digital picture of it and send us the
file by email. If the digital file is not available, you can
mail us the photo and we will send it back to you after we
scan it. If it is really precious to you, please use express
mail or mail with tracking capability. We also recommend that
you use cardboard envelope to protect your photos against
damage during shipment.We are not responsible if your picture
gets damaged in transit to us.
o What is the best photo to use?
As a general rule, the clearer the original photograph is, the better the painted artwork will be. For best results, please make sure that your photograph meets the following criteria.
The photograph clearly shows each subject's face. Features
such as eye color and hair color and style should be visible.
The photograph is in clear focus and the main subjects are
not shadowed.
The photograph is at the highest resolution possible
The photograph size is as large as possible.
If you are uncertain of the quality of the photo we recommend you send it to us for evaluation.
Two or three reference photos can also help us get exactly the right details.
o How will my painting be drawn?
Your painting will be hand-painted by one of our affiliated
artists who specialize in the painting style and subject you
chose.
o How long will it take for my painting
to be drawn?
It takes from 3 - 5 business days for pencil sketch, color
pencil and water color artworkss and 1-2 weeks for oil painting
artworks, depending on the painting size and complexity. Also
if you request further revisions, it will take longer to finish.
o How long will it take to mail the painting
to me?
It takes 3-4 weeks if you choose the standard shipping and
handling with no charge to you, in which we use USPS ground
shipping. Express shipping and accelerated handling are available
at a reasonable cost, which will take 1 week at the fastest
speed.
o Can I check the painting out before
it is mailed to me?
Absolutely. In fact, your painting won’t be shipped
until you get your final approval. After we finish the first
draft, we will take a digital picture and send it to you by
email, and then you give us feedback on how we should make
changes to meet your expectation. We will make as many revisions
as it takes to make you completely satisfied before shipping
it out.
o How many times can I request revisions
on my painting?
Unlimited. As many times as you feel necessary until you
are completely satisfied.
o What if I don’t like my painting?
Simple. Just say “no thanks” and you have no
obligations to buy.
o What mailing method do you use and
how much?
We use USPS ground shipping with no charge or Fedex express shipping for 39.99.
o What if my painting is damaged in the
mail?
Send it back at our expense and we will redraw it for you
or refund your money.
o What if I don’t like my painting
after I hang it for a while?
Within 30 days, send it back to us and we will refund your
money.
Special Service / Request
o Can you merge two photos together?
No problem. Just send us the photos with instructions on
how you would like them to be merged.
o Can you remove the background of my photo?
Certainly. We can eliminate background and subjects for you with no charge.
o Can you add a background to my photo?
Certainly. Please send us a background picture of your preference and we can merge it into the painting.
o Can you remove a subject on the photo?
Sure. You only draw those parts of the photo you instruct
us to draw.
o What if my photo is blurred and not
quite clear to see?
Well, it depends on how clear it is. The facial features
need to be clear enough for us to draw a painting that look
like the subject. If it is blurred badly, we might not be
able to draw it.
o Do you offer gift wrapping service?
At this point, we don’t but we are planning to.
o Do you offer frames and framing service
with the painting?
We currently do not provide framing service. Lots of sizes that we offered will fit the pre-made frames. Please contact your local framing store for custom framing.
o What if I want a different style of
painting other than those shown on gallery of your web site?
Just tell us about it. Our team of talented artists is familiar
with many painting styles. We will match one to fit your needs.
o What if I have a unique special request
on how the painting should be painted?
Just let us know. In fact, most special requests incur no
charge to you. And we are all about making you happy.
